Eastern Front during world war 1

Define and describe the powers fighting on the Eastern theatre.  What were some similarities and differences between battles on the Western and Eastern fronts?  Be specific in your answer.
The powers on the Eastern Front involved the Russian Allies fighting against the Central Powers of Austria-Hungary and Germany. Russia had a strong and well equipped force. They were prepared equally to Germany, and were probably superior to the Austrians.
The Austria-Hungarian army was lacking equipment and resources throughout the prewar and fell behind the shadowing powers of Germany and Russia. Having many Slavic recruits, Austrian officers struggled in controlling  their prideful soldiers.
The Eastern side of World War I started with Russia invading Eastern Prussia. The Russians fell weak under the Prussian tactics and Germany ensued, taking even more causalities from Russia. Although Russia suffered, they soon regained confidence by attacking and crushing an Austrian army in Poland, forcing them to eventually retreat.
Austrian generals met with German commanders in an attempt to defeat the rising Russian army. The Russians suffered an embarrassing defeat and Germany took over the command of the Eastern Front. Germany made another attack to Russians. Over two million Russian soldiers were killed over the course of the year and the Central Powers lost nearly one million men.
Russia tried to obtain the power they once possessed by launching another attack to the Central powers but bore the same terrible losses they had the year before. Russians slowly moved towards revolt as their failures increased and Austria-Hungary slowly began to deteriorate.

In conclusion, the war on the East was started in efforts to avoid further conflict and in caution of protecting oneself against potentially more powerful armies. The war resulting in great casualties on all sides and the Central Powers dominated.
With the war n the west between Allies Belgium, France, Britain against Central Power Germany, the Allies went strong, as they were on their own grounds. The Western war was due to Germany crossing through neutral Belgium to attack France from behind. This was a problem because Britain and France signed a treating protecting Belgium's neutrality. Again, great causalities ensued.
Germany has a pattern of strong defense within the Great War. As the European countries played cat and mouse while trying to assert dominance, some fell weak whilst others rose to ultimate power.

Great War

The Great War, otherwise known as World War I, was caused by many factors. Tensions to show their power rose between Britain and Germany. The previous scramble to obtain African territory left bad blood in between European countries and left allies. European countries attempted to stabilize themselves and created two huge allies, trying to hold the government together and prevent oncoming war. Austrians' struggle for land and power after Archduke Fernidand was assassinated lead to the picking of sides and created even more tension for independence in certain areas. The lack of strong leaders and absence of clear land borders made Europe go against one another, resulting in the Great War.

Another Movie,

Waking Ned Devine is an Irish film that Paola cannot even undertsand. We hired a translator. that is my life. spurts of random accents and ethnic roots that no one undertsnads. This film involves an old irish man riding naked on a motorcycle. Throughout the movie, he bonds with his friends as they work towards the wellfare of their town and attempt to retrieve the lotto money their friend won before dying of shock by impersonating him. A wee bit of irish humor and lovely scenery and comradery tie up my life. I am an old irish man at heart.

Angus Thongs and Perfect Snogging

This movie tells the story of female teenagers in high school in England. They all have a similar sense of humor to me and remind me of my roots. When I show this movie to people, sometimes they have a hard time following due to their American-ness.
